Benefits of the Oils I Use

The key to any healthy, natural soap is the oil that is used as the base.  Another reason I use organic oils is to assure none of the oils are genetically modified. 

100% natural Cocoa Butter
1.  natural antioxidants
2.  naturally rich in Vitamin E
3.  contains cocoa mass polyphenol 
4.   aromatherapy promoting relaxation and the feeling of well-being
5.   superb moisturizer

Organic Coconut Oil
1. High in anti-oxidants. It penetrates skin tissue protecting and preventing against the formation of free   
2.  soothes and moisturizes, dry skin
3.  helps eliminate athlete’s foot
4.  reduces chronic skin inflammation
5.  assist in treating psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis

Organic Palm Oil
1. contains toctrienols, which are members of the vitamin E family
2.  fights free radicals that damage the skin
3.  heals and protects
4.  high in beta carotene
5.  deep moisturizing properties

Organic Olive Oil
1.  contains a natural moisturizer, called squalene
2.  contains chlorophyll
3.   A and E vitamins,
4.  as well as some polyphenols
5.  good internally and topically

Organic Sunflower Oil
1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.  high amounts of Vitamins A, B, D and E, minerals, lecithin, insulin, and unsaturated fatty

Organic Almond Oil
1.  refreshing fragrance which has positive impacts on your senses.
2.   vitamin E in abundance
3.   great emollient properties
4.   keeps the PH of the skin at normal level
5.  antioxidants

There are a few oils I won't use. 

The first one is lard.  Not always but most of the time lard does not make a good lather and it does leave an odd smell unless you use a strong fragrance oil.

Soybean oil.  If it's not good to eat it's not good for your skin!

Canola oil.  Again if it's not good for your insides it's not good for your outsides.

These are my opinions and only reflect my personal convictions.
